Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights count page views and measure how quickly pages load. They set no cookies and build no profile, so they run without asking. They are how I know the work page loads slower than the homepage.Analytics, and how to switch them off
Google Analytics records which pages are read and for how long. Microsoft Clarity records how the page is used, which includes a replay of pointer movement, clicks and scrolling. Both set cookies, and both wait until you interact with the page before loading at all.Clarity masks text input by default, and no form on this site asks for personal details, so there is nothing of yours to record from one.To stop them: block third-party scripts or cookies in your browser settings, use any tracker-blocking extension, or opt out of Clarity through Microsoft’s privacy controls. The chat bubble is an assistant, not me. It answers only from my CV. What you type is sent to Google’s Gemini API to produce the reply, so do not put anything confidential in it. The site runs on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. The chat endpoint counts requests per IP in memory to stop one visitor exhausting the API quota; that count is not written anywhere and disappears within the minute.Asking me about your data
